HEAVEN is a singer-songwriter and multi-dimensional creative making a name for herself in Los Angeles. Unconventional, humble, aspirational, ambitious and driven are just a few of the words used to describe Heaven. Her talent is undeniable. Heaven’s voice has been compared to power-houses Adele and Amy Winehouse and her songwriting and production sensibilities have conjured comparisons to alternative superstars like Paramore and Panic! At The Disco. The resulting polished grittiness resonates with music lovers across the pop and rock genres.
Heaven showed enthusiasm for singing and writing music from a young age, prompting her family to relocate to Los Angeles to help her chase her dream of becoming a successful musician. After graduating from high school at the age of 16, Heaven earned an Associates in Audio Engineering from the Los Angeles Recording School. It was not long after that Heaven started getting recognized for her musical abilities. Her Instagram following quickly grew to over 25,000 followers as she shared her originals and covers with the community. In 2020, she was awarded the IMSTA FESTA Songwriter of the Year award by TEC where she was nominated alongside contemporary greats Billie Eillish and Finneas O’Connell. Heaven shares this distinction with legendary songwriters including Herbie Hancock, Joni Mitchell, and Dave Pensado.
Advocacy is weaved into Heaven’s music. She aspires to be a prominent voice in the music industry for her generation, especially for other young women and women of color who face obstacles in the music industry and the world at large, adversity that Heaven has experienced firsthand. The leading single off of her forthcoming EP, Attention Whore, challenges the idea that women should be ashamed for taking up space and demanding attention. She hopes her music helps to influence the culture of the industry and shift the status quo while inspiring others to take up space and pursue their dreams.
