17-year-old producer from Southern California, Zadie Jean, started writing songs at 9 and began performing shortly after. Beginning as a duo with her sister, she decided to branch out to find her own sound and started her journey into producing. In 2018 she won the award for best melody in the Raise Her Voice competition. That accomplishment inspired her to dive deeper into the music world by self-producing her sound. Video by Nia Lumpkin |
